Bridgewater Round-Up Days

My husband, daughter, and I were moving my son

into an apartment in Des Moines this past weekend

and decided to make the jont over to our beloved

little second home Bridgewater We pulled into town and were greeted with a marvelous surprise

The Round Up Days were going on that evening

We had missed the tractor parade, but we got

in on the dinner, evening entertainment, and BINGO!

We had a great time!

That evening my daughter and I walked over

to the church and my daughter (who is a Vocal

Performance Major at UofI) gave me a private concert

She may be putting on a Christmas Recital in Bridgewater

We were contemplating...

We love our little House

and had fun reminiscing

Jessica At the Iowa State Fair

My daughter Jessica has been attending the Iowa State Fair with our Family since before she was born. She's been a vegetarian since she was 3, so you might wonder what she eats at the fair... since Iowa is so know for it's meat. She loved finding the Veggie Corn Dogs... so now we can all eat our traditional "Corn Dogs" while visiting the fair.

Remembering Fun Times At the Lake House

We love to picnic at the House... these were twice baked potatoes... in a vintage red tray.

We always stop at the Iowa State Fair on our way to the house & lake in late August... What great memories at the fair.

Shasta Pink Flea Market

During these cold snowy days of January it's fun to look back at some pictures from the summer. These pictures were of a wonderful Pink Shasta that was at a flea market I went to. The owner was just adorable and her wares were so much fun.

This bracelet was the cutest.
