It's a Womderful Life

We love spending time at our little Bridgewater Lake House. My parents many times join us at the house. They are always great memories as we sit and just talk about my Mother's experience of growing up in that area. We love our little "dining area". The perfect place for a cup of coffee and dessert.

Anthing Red White and Blue

I just love Flags and the bright colors of the red white and blue. At the Lake House I put flags where I could to give that patriotic summer "Ralph Lauren" look. Of course most of my decorating finds weren't from Ralph Lauren, but garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets.

Carving Pumpkins on the Lake House Porch

One reason we bought the little Lake House was to get away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. We love doing such simple things like carving pumpkins on our porch or catching fire flies, or looking for constellations at night or going for bike rides to lake or playing checkers, No I pods, Video games allowed... and the kids still have fun.. Wow

I love vintage kitchen stuff with bright colors. I think the women of the 40's & 50's spent so much time in their kitchens that they needed bright colors to keep them happy!!!

The kitchen is almost like a Vintage kitchen museum. I love anything vintage and kitsch!!
