Jessica At the Iowa State Fair

My daughter Jessica has been attending the Iowa State Fair with our Family since before she was born. She's been a vegetarian since she was 3, so you might wonder what she eats at the fair... since Iowa is so know for it's meat. She loved finding the Veggie Corn Dogs... so now we can all eat our traditional "Corn Dogs" while visiting the fair.

Remembering Fun Times At the Lake House

We love to picnic at the House... these were twice baked potatoes... in a vintage red tray.

We always stop at the Iowa State Fair on our way to the house & lake in late August... What great memories at the fair.

Shasta Pink Flea Market

During these cold snowy days of January it's fun to look back at some pictures from the summer. These pictures were of a wonderful Pink Shasta that was at a flea market I went to. The owner was just adorable and her wares were so much fun.

Happy New Year

This sweet New Year's card reminds me of my past to the quaint little town of Bridgewater Iowa where we have our little Lake House. My great grandparents, grandparents and Mother was raised and lived in this little town. I feel their spirit when we stay at our little house. In fact the house just across the street is where my grandparents were married. Looking forward to 2011.
